A 1: In order to make an immigrant woman to have a healthy newborn baby and avoid the rubella infection is contracted during pregnancy, the following guidelines are strongly recommended. You're suggested to be pregnant if you have been lived in Taiwan in the past four months and also are eligible to apply for the National Health Insurance. It is in order to make you save money on prenatal visits. You're suggested to be pregnant if you have been accustomed to your new family, marriage life and non-native language. You usually need spend one year for accommodation at least. You're suggested to be pregnant if you have been given rubella vaccine over three to six months.

If you are given rubella vaccine and are pregnant within three months and you start willing to conceive, please be sure to visit and consult your doctor and then make the final decision. Do women should have vitamin or mineral supplement in pregnancy? According the current medical research, it suggests that a woman who is during the pregnable age has to have 400-mcg folic acid everyday. Today, most of women are career girl and they usually have their meals out of the home place. The way for career girl to have sufficient nutrition of folic acid is to take a tablet of folic acid multiple vitamins everyday, especially before conception and during early pregnancy. It is in order to protect the development of fetus health and prevent serious birth defect in baby.
